Soli Deo Gloria was the central cry of the Reformation.

It is Latin for "To God Alone the Glory"

In Christ Alone! Ministries confesses that all things exist to give glory to God. Certainly, every aspect of our salvation is for the ultimate purpose of giving God alone the glory.

"I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it, God has done it, so that people fear before him." (Ecclesiastes 3:14 ESV)

From the Cambridge Declaration

We reaffirm that because salvation is of God and has been accomplished by God, it is for God's glory and that we must glorify him always. We must live our entire lives before the face of God, under the authority of God and for his glory alone.

We deny that we can properly glorify God if our worship is confused with entertainment, if we neglect either Law or Gospel in our preaching, or if self-improvement, self-esteem or self-fulfillment are allowed to become alternatives to the gospel.
