THE QUESTION “IS ONENESS PENTECOSTALISM REALLY
CHRISTIANITY WITHOUT A CROSS?” |
This writing is my
formal response to David Norris’s paper, “Is Oneness
Pentecostalism Really Christianity without a Cross?” presented
at the Urshan Graduate School of Theology Third Annual
Symposium, “Exalting the Name,” in March, 2004. It is also a
response to the panel discussion from the same symposium. I am
frequently asked about my views on Thomas Fudge’s book,
Christianity without the Cross and David Norris’ response
paper at the UGST symposium. I realize it has been several years
since Dr. Fudge’s book was published and Dr. Norris’ paper was
presented. Still, I believe that many of the issues they raised
are current, pertinent and require further discussion. Through
this paper I will add my thoughts to the debate.
